Jammu & Kashmir: The President of Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, Mahant Rohit Shastri, expressed gratitude to Sanskrit enthusiasts and participants for making the “Kailakh Sanskrit Rattan Puraskar” ceremony a success. He conveyed this during a press conference held at the Jammu . Shastri stated that, for the first time in the history of Jammu & Kashmir, such a grand Sanskrit event took place, which is now being discussed on a global level.
Notably, the Kailakh Sanskrit Ratna Award for the year 2024 was recently conferred upon Shri Shri 1008 Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri Ji Maharaj.
Shastri emphasized that the primary objective of the Trust is to promote the divine language Sanskrit in the region. He appealed to the youth to actively contribute to the preservation and propagation of Sanskrit, thereby strengthening the cultural heritage of the region and the nation.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Trustees of the Trust, including R.K. Chhibber, Pramod Sharma, Dr. Vishva Gupta, Anil Gupta, and several other distinguished citizens.
